Sa ika-19 ng Agosto, 2011 isa ang Filipina international singer na si Lea Salonga ang paparangalan ng Disney sa Anaheim Convention Center, California dahil sa kanyang naging kontribusyon sa Walt Disney
Matatandaan na si Lea ang nasa likod ng mga magagandang tinig sa pagkanta ng dalawang pinkasikat na prinsesa ng Disney, sina Jasmine ng Alladin (1992) at Fa Mulan ng Mulan II (2004).
Bukod pa rito, malaki rin ang naging papel ng Pinay International Singer sa Broadway laung-lalo na sa kanyang di malilimutang pagganap niya bilang Kim ng Miss Saigon na siyang nagbigay ng sunud-sunod na parangal sa kanya (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics' Circle, at Theater World Awards).

Maliban kay Lean, ang ilang tatanggap ng parangal ay sina Jim Henson (Muppets), TV host Regis Philbin, at ang mga aktres na nagbigay boses sa mga prinsesa ng Disney; kasama sina Josi Benson (Ariel - The Little Mermaid), Paige O'Hara (Belle - Beauty and the Beast), Linda larkin (Jasmine - Alladin), at Anika Noni Rose (Princess Tiana - The Princess and the Frog).
