Joyce, K-La and Mike are the newest MYX VJs

MYX is on its fifth year of searching countrywide for deserving music video ambassadors which have produced well-loved hosts like sophomore VJs Chino Lui Pio, Bianca Roque and Janine Ramirez, and Robin Nieverra. Senior VJs Luis Manzano, Nikki Gil and Iya Villania are now well-recognized as hosts and are busy hosting more than one show on MYX and ABS-CBN.


Twelve finalists from all over the country battle it out to get the people’s votes and the MYX Team's approval to eventually become MYX’s next most-sought after VJ. 




The 12 finalists chosen were:

Angeliaa fierce Ilongga and a beauty queen; voted as this year’s Face of Bb. Pilipinas; host of a travel show in her province

Camillealready appeared in commercials, TV dramas, web shows and even in an indie film; an avid fan of Air Supply

Cara
has appeared on a number of music videos

Chewy
the smallest in the bunch; currently balancing being a music production student and a radio jock

Drew
a Filipino-American stunner who was once seen in a mobile phone ad; an English teacher and a basketball player 

Earl
A theater geek; a K-Pop fan

JJ 
a former student radio DJ; a college sophomore from Ateneo 

Joyce 
a UP Fine Arts student; fluent in sarcasm and gibberish

K-La 
a Filipino-Canadian RnB sweetheart who competed on national TV to become the next singing sensation

Marga a club DJ; an Advertising major—who enjoys football and longboarding

Martin 
a Broadcast Communication student; a self-confessed Katy Pery fan

Mike
a 6’1” hottie, proud as the captain of the De La Salle University swim team

After more than a month of searching, finally, on July 27, 2011 at SM North EDSA The Block Atrium, Joyce, K-La and Mike were announced to be the newest VJs on MYX.
