Anne denied having “billboards in a bra,” via Twitter Tuesday.
“...[at] the most bikinis! Pero walang billboard now as they have claimed na pwede tanggalin ngayon. So i think MALI ang statement from the @MMDA.. The only billboard I have along Boni-Edsa is SMDC yata at naka GOWN ako dun!!! Saabeh!!” Anne said in her post.
But a Twitter user tweeted her and Angel, saying, “meron billboard si Anne nkaBra para sa isang fruity helathy drink diba? Sa may bandang QAve cor EDSA...”
To which Angel responded, “@catfudge @143redangel it's a bikini po and wala na sya matagal na :)”
Angel, meanwhile, tweeted Anne on Tuesday a photo of a newspaper with a story about her and Anne’s supposed billboards.
“Kelan tayo nagka-ad na naka-bra lang anita?:p @annecurtissmith," said Angel.
She also posted, “BATHING SUIT. ONE PIECE. I used to have BB na topless, naka-2piece & one piece, wala namang issue :p”
The sexy actress directed her next tweet to the MMDA, which read:
“@MMDA if u think offensive our BB's na in a DECENT Bathing Suit & Gown po, fine☺ don't use our names na lang 2 promote whatever u r doing☺”
MMDA issued a press statement on Monday citing Anne and Angel’s billboards on EDSA-Boni in Mandaluyong among those which they deemed “offensive.” Supposedly, the billboards also lacked the necessary permit.
Angel’s billboard for a canned tuna with her constant date, Azkals striker Phil Younghusband, was taken down on July 11.
Anne observed that all her billboards on EDSA are still intact.
“You know what's funny? All my billboards are still up. Including the ones on Boni-Edsa. Hmmm I wonder who made the official statement? #FAIL,” she tweeted Tuesday.
